Ingredients:
For the pancakes:
- 200g self-raising flour
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 250ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 30g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

Method:
- Make the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar and baking powder. In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then add the milk, vanilla extract and melted butter. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Cook the Pancakes: Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Pour small ladlefuls of batter into the pan, cooking for about 2 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble & Serve: Stack the pancakes on a plate, drizzle generously with Hershey’s Strawberry Syrup, and top with fresh strawberries. Add whipped cream if desired, and finish with a light dusting of icing sugar.
